8th Global Blue Economy Conference “Living Innovations: Vision and Practice”, May 2027

Estonia has been chosen to host the 8th Global Blue Economy Conference the first such event on European soil in over a decade. This is not simply a conference, it is a strategic inflection point.

Over the past decades, Blue Economy initiatives have shown that it is possible to respond to basic human needs, create jobs, build new companies, improve competitiveness and reach high standards of sustainability at the same time. This positive and practical vision will be at the heart of the conference in Estonia.

These are not theories, but concrete examples of a new economic logic. The Blue Economy goes beyond the circular economy: it combines available local resources, unused potential, community strength, innovation, technology and nature’s intelligence into new solutions.

Co-Creation Hub is pleased to bring this conference to Tallinn and to create a high-level European platform that connects ministers, entrepreneurs, scientists, investors, practitioners, policy makers, and media.

The conference will take place on following dates:

11-12 May 2027 Youth Entrepreneurship Jamboree 2027

13-14 May 2027 Conference “Living Innovations: Vision and Practice” 2027

15 May 2027 Post-program: Excursions and site visits

Together with Prof. Gunter Pauli, the founder of Blue Economy, we warmly invite partners, institutions and organisations to join us in making this conference a strong, meaningful and influential gathering.
